The Sweetest Nectar

Hello! Today I'm stopping by to share a card I've made using a lovely image by Le Ann's World 101 called Sweet Nectar. 

I just love coloring greyscale images, they always give so much more depth to your colors and they take much less time to work on.

After coloring my image, I did some fairly simple die cutting to create a hinged, shaped card in purple and white.  I then added some shine to the border and sentiment using Peel Off Stickers.

Looking Just Dapper This Christmas

Hello! It's my final inspiration post of 2018 and I've created a simple, last minute card, using Jethro's Christmas image available in Le Ann's World 101's Etsy Store.

My design started with coloring the image and die cutting it using a shaped nesting die set. I then cut a larger piece and colored it to create a custom colored layer. I really wanted to keep with the Christmas colors but also wanted a more subdued contrast than a darker green would have given.

I mounted these layers onto a hinged, shaped card base and added a simple Peel Off Sticker sentiment. I then went back and added black to each of the pierced dots the die created to frame my colored image just that little more. You can find full instructions and all the product links in my blog post. Santa's Helper

Hello! Today I'm sharing some Christmas inspiration, using Le Ann's World 101's Santa's Helper image. 

I've created a 5.25"×6.5" card base with some digital patterned paper rather than with plain colored cardstock and added the framed Santa's Helper image directly onto that base. I've then die cut and embossed three small trees and a sentiment to add as embellishments.

Rather than just rely on the patterned paper alone to accentuate the card, I've finished off with dots of dimensional glue as falling snow and once dry, added foil to each of them, giving all areas of the card silver accents.

Fun With Stockings And Plaid

Hello! This is my first inspiration post for Le Ann's World 101 DT and I was so happy to be making one of my first Christmas cards. I'm running so late this year!

I used the Fun With Stockings digi, coloring it with my Chameleon Pens and Pencils. Once finished, I die cut the image and two matting layers in red and black, gluing them all together, ready to add to my card.

I printed a digital buffalo plaid patterned paper and die cut it down to size, to add to my 5"×7" card base. I also spent a little extra time die cutting the edges of a thin strip of black card, just so that all my edges had the same pierced decoration.

To assemble the card, I added the black strip to the buffalo plaid and glued both pieces onto the card. I used foam tape to adhere the oval assembly to the top section of the panel and finished of with some white die cut snowflakes and a Christmas sentiment.
