Hello everyone,
Today it's my turn to inspire you. I have use Flutter by fairy image from LeAnn's world 101. I really adore this sweet little image, though I love Fairies no matter what.
Here a little something about my cards:
My type of cards a clean & simple ones lately. But I can go out of the box sometimes with a whole layered card, shaped cards or more. But mainly I love to do Clean & Simple cards, with the theme as inspiration (my theme this month Fairies). Next month I don't know just jet, though keep your eyes open.
I planning to have theme at every last week of the month, this month it will be movie inspired cards. Which will start at Sunday 22 April till Saturday 28 of April.
Back to my inspiration card:
Cause it's Mothers day on the 13th of May I thought I would share a Fairy themed Mothersday card. I'll put a sweet gift in it around mothers day. But at least the card is done.
I colored in this sweetie with my markers from Action (Dutch cheap shop), and really love it!
Dress: Wine Red & Old red (looks like Bordeaux red)
Flowers: Warm grey & White
Hearts flowers: Melon yellow & Canary yellow
Leafs: Grass green & Pastel green
Hair: Melon yellow, Olive, Canary Yellow & Pastel yellow
Wings: Pastel yellow & Pastel green & Coral Pink
Bow hair: Wine red & Old red
Skin: Light Orange & Flesh
Bees: Yellow & Black
Antenna girl: Black
I have practiced my handlettering as well, with a calligraphy pen on a piece of Kraft cardstock.
As finishing touch I used some clear glitter nail polish on the wings of the bees & a liquid pearl on the ankle of the sweet fairy and some peachy colored buttons around the image will finishing of the card.
